An Excuse For Pink

Today is February first, and spring should be coming soon, however where I live it isn't

(the other day was below negative and there's still snow on the ground)

yet that can't keep me from pinks as valentines day is just around the corner

This year I'm hoping for a road trip soon, so a headphone splitter (plug it into your phone,

plug two different headphones into that) is perfect for me and my sister and I now
have the perfect excuse to buy this cute pinkish red one shaped like a heart.

Besides that some shoes (a girl can never have too many) a new makeup bag,

light fuzzy jacket, cute floral kimono, a baby pink set of pj's and of course a floppy hat

are all on my valentines day is an excuse to go shopping wishlist

Introductory Post

My name is Megan.

As the fist official post on my blog (I've made about ten and deleted every one) I thought I'd introduce myself and tell you a bit about me. I often forget (avoid) wearing bright colors (eep I'll try my hardest to wear more I promise) or colors at all, bad habit I know. But at least it gave me a name for the blog, monochrome meg, me and my lack of color. Anyways as of now I'm living a bit north of Chicago where it's absolutely freezing although I'm trying to convince my parents to move to somewhere much warmer. For now I'm a highschool student who spends my day dreading each class. That'll end soon as I plan on studying Fashion Merchandising in College.
